7. Acknowledgements
The main contributors to the IDLWAVE package have been:

Chris Chase, the original author.
Chris wrote `idl.el' and `idl-shell.el' and maintained them
for several years.

Carsten Dominik was in charge
of the package from version 3.0, during which time he overhauled almost
everything, modernized IDLWAVE with many new features, and developed the
manual.

J.D. Smith, the current
maintainer, as of version 4.10, helped shape object method completion
and most new features introduced in versions 4.x, and added
significant new capabilities for versions 5.x.
